friday night and saturday plans

regardless of the weather...

registration will begin at 5pm today at the first ave rocks tent. be sure to make your way to the tent to pick up your competitor packet including shirt, as well as raffle and beer ticket for the evening.

TONIGHT the Daniel Woods Slideshow will kick things off in the pavilion at 7pm. the dyno comp will follow afterward. the competition is free with prizes for the most "ups" for top 3 in mens and womens category. after the comp DJ Golden Boodah will close it out til ?

stop by the first ave rocks tent to pick up a beverage, visit the vendors onsite, and settle in the pavilion for the evening. should be a lot of fun.

we will raffle off a few things (pad, shoes, etc) tonight between the two activities so make sure you are there.

the bouldering competition has been postponed til sunday. the conditions look sick as these sort of set ups create the stickiest days in the pens. registration will begin at 10AM and we will start as soon as the rock is dry (probably 11). comp will end at 5pm with awards ceremony at six.

regardless of weather...

saturday's live music will start in the covered pavilion at 11am with the acoustic sounds of michael posey followed by Strung Like a Horse and continue til 8. the scc raffle as well as competitor raffle will happen between Earthbound and Shaglo with tons of gear to give away. the party will continue afterward with dj spinning by J Pheonix to keep it moving til everyone is done.

Good People high gravity Brew (including new cans) as well as Gina's chili will be available at the first ave rocks tent for $10

corrections to previous posts.. DanielWoods is not doing the trad clinic (although i am sure he has sick skills) and Pat Goodman had to cancel due to car trouble. we will run the trad clinics through certified instructors at the first ave rocks booth.
